Brief


To increase brand awareness and produce informative content for students and alumni. Encourage prospective students to enrol with the college by promoting academic programs, college culture, and unique course offerings via social channels, advertising and work in the broader community.

Contributing to an ongoing overhaul in the brand to align with a growing college offering university courses across several developing campuses. 


Response


I joined the college at a very exciting and transitional period, whereby I got to contribute to a partial rebrand. The aim of which was to present the college as a competitor of large established universities by reflecting the same qualities of professionalism through our branding. This was achieved by updating to a modern typeface and replacing an overcomplicated technicolour palette and with a more refined core group of colours. The rebrand also repurposed the ticks from the logo to become a key motif for the college, helping to contribute to a more consistent visual identity across internal ephemera and external marketing.

My time at Wiltshire College also provided brilliant opportunities to work on and create sub-brands such as ‘Wiltshire Teen Think Tank’, which will be debating in parliament in the near future, and the college’s podcast, ‘Wonderment by Wiltshire’.
