Brief
To increase brand awareness and encourage prospective students to enrol with the college.
Response
I joined the college at a very exciting and transitional period, whereby I got to contribute to a partial rebrand. The aim of which was to present the college as a competitor of large established universities by reflecting the same qualities of professionalism through our branding. This was achieved by updating to a modern typeface and replacing an overcomplicated technicolour palette and with a more refined core group of colours. The rebrand also repurposed the ticks from the logo to become a key motif for the college, helping to contribute to a more consistent visual identity across internal ephemera and external marketing.
My time at Wiltshire College also provided brilliant opportunities to work on and create sub-brands such as ‘Wiltshire Teen Think Tank’, which will be debating in parliament in the near future, and the college’s podcast, ‘Wonderment by Wiltshire’.
